The older history of “Ilm-ul-Kalam” is associated with the rationalist group “Mutazilites” which emerged at the beginning of the 2nd century. Later, two other schools of thought were established, such as the Maturidites and the Asharites, who represented the mainstream Sunni theology and viewed the approach of the Mutazilites in contrast to Islamic tradition and scriptures, which resulted in many conflicts. between them. Scientism has nothing to do with science. It is the abuse of science to achieve personal desires. It can be classified as a religion like Darwinism, Naturalism, Socialism and Marxism etc. Even in America, people celebrate Darwin’s Day. Is Darwin a unique genius living on the planet? There are certainly many more, but why haven’t they had so many protocols? The reason is obvious. Atheists regard Darwin as their pseudo-prophet who proposed an alternative theory of creation which is the cornerstone of atheism. The most important things in our life such as God, ethics and meaning, etc., do not exist physically. Now, what scientists do, they reject all these metaphysical entities solely on the basis of science. They argue that these things cannot be verified by science and that what cannot be verified by science does not exist. It is an explicit error to study metaphysics using scientific glasses. The very definition of inductive logic upon which science is based suggests that there is no certainty in the realm of science. The relationship between premises and consequences is that of probability. The scientific method is limited to observation and experimentation. What lies beyond sensory perception, science has no right to deny its existence. If he did, it would be in violation of his basic definition. With the laudable, attractive and amazing achievements of science, people began to apply the scientific method to categories that were previously considered to be fields of philosophy and religion. Unfortunately, this also brutally disrupted philosophy, resulting in movements such as logical positivism limiting the broader view and scope of philosophy to a materialist approach to make it parallel and compatible with methodology and worldview. dominant current. They generally neglect the probability of variation of scientific claims, even if this has been experienced several times in the history of science. Science can be knowledge, but not all knowledge is science. Scientists make an observation in different places and times and then expand it universally, but if someone made a conflicting observation in another place or time, the previous one would be discredited because scientific claims are always falsely exposed. . A theory is said to be scientific if it is empirically falsifiable.
We must make the religious community aware of the misuse of science. Scientism has made our young people agnostic and skeptical about their ethical, moral and religious values. To increase the rational potential of people to stay true to their faith, the return of Ilm-Ul-Kalam is inevitable. If we do not take a positive step for its return and reform, the younger generation will forever fall into the quagmire of confusion and tension.
