Storm Arwen: Oasis tribute band and 50 punters trapped in a pub by a snow blizzard | United Kingdom | New

The real Gallagher brothers have made it clear that being locked in the same room for five minutes could lead to a fall. But the band members and other guests at the Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales appear to be getting along like a storm, despite having been trapped there since Friday.
On Friday, people descended on the secluded pub, located 1,732 feet above sea level, to watch a performance by the Oasis tribute band “Noasis”.
But it soon became clear that they would not be leaving that night due to a Storm Arwen snow blizzard.
Makeshift beds were to be placed on the floor of the bar.
When guests woke up, most of the cars outside – and parts of the pub itself – were buried in snow.
Owner Mike Kenny, quoted in Manchester Evening News, said: ‘We have recommended all members of the pub to stay outside rather than endanger their lives on the snow-capped moorland.
“No one is going anywhere yet. The police advised that we all stay outside for the time being. “
He joked: “Our snowplow is snowy!”
A 32-year-old guest, Tom Rigby, told the newspaper he intended to visit the pub and leave the next day after staying at a nearby B&B.

Reports suggest that the entertainment was provided by “Noasis” as well as a quiz and movies.
Another guest, Martin Overton, quoted in The Sun, said the mood was “very good”.
Perhaps this was facilitated by the fact that there was “a lot of beer available”.
However, patience might soon start to run out (especially if the barrels run dry!) With guests now ready to spend a third night at the Inn.
Roads nearby are still unusable, in part due to falling power cables, according to the BBC.
Storm Arwen caused massive destruction across the country, including three deaths.
