When Our Lady of Fatima requested that Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, she warned that if her request was not heeded, Russia would “spread its errors throughout the world”. Church Militant’s Kristine Christlieb looks at Russia’s most egregious mistakes.
The Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, launching communism on the world stage, was preceded by a crucial message that only Catholics recognize. Our Lady delivered a double prophecy, not only about future Russian errors, but also that these errors would spread throughout the world.
When Russia chose communism, it also chose atheism, abandoning the nation’s age-old relationship with God. Denying God opened the door to the next painful mistake.
In 1920, Russia became the first nation to legalize abortion, an indisputable fact worthy of solemn reflection. Since 1917, Communists, whose roots are in Russia, have slowly and deliberately brainwashed the world with its errors.
Yuri Bezmenov, KGB defector:
Changing every American’s perception of reality to such an extent that, despite the abundance of information, no one is able to come to reasonable conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their communities and his country. It’s a big brainwashing process that goes very slowly.
Trevor Loudon agrees. He ties the Communists’ long-term strategy to today’s awakened culture, telling The Epoch Times, “Today’s awakening movement seeks to raise people’s consciousness about race and gender; it’s communist-style brainwashing.
Soviet defector Ion Pacepa claims the KGB injected liberation theology into the Latin American Church to sow the seeds of godless communism in the heavily Catholic region.
Prof. Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann, former Nicaraguan Minister of Foreign Affairs: “The message of Jesus was 100% political, anti-imperialist and revolutionary.
Even as Russia is consecrated, the damage caused by its untold mistakes could take generations to heal.
Russia’s best-known dissident, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, said: “Militant atheism is not merely incidental or marginal to communist politics; it is not a side effect, but the central pivot.
