Yesterday, the Dhaka city branch of Islami Andolan Bangladesh held a rally in front of the capital’s Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, to protest what they said, the “degradation of the Holy Quran” incident in Cumilla. and rising prices for basic necessities.
Addressing the rally, Syed Modasser Billah Al Madani, a member of the presidium of the organization’s central committee, said they wanted a peaceful Bangladesh without harmful incidents involving people from the Muslim and Hindu communities.

Later, about 1,500 leaders and activists of the organization brought out a procession.
