Ingraham: Conservatives will thrive because of the destructive policies of the DC establishment

Fox News host Laura Ingraham opened “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday slamming failed policies of the Washington political establishment and offering hope to the conservative movement.

Ingraham denounced Democrats who she said come out daily as “anti-freedom, anti-science, anti-religion, anti-family, anti-gun, anti-law enforcement and anti-history.”

“For some perspective, we need to take a step back,” Ingraham continued, “Since Reagan stepped down, the bipartisan establishment in Washington has been obsessed with five very bad ideas.”

According to Ingraham, these five bad ideas are:

  1. They believe we have a labor shortage here in the United States, so they want the borders to be as open as possible.
  2. They believe that the Chinese Communist Party will evolve and eventually become more free.
  3. The establishment has long believed that the future belongs to social liberalism.
  4. They believe we should bring democracy to the Middle East.
  5. Former bipartisan cabal believes trade should never be restricted, making it easier for companies to move jobs overseas

Ingraham denounced these decades-old policies of the DC establishment, saying they were “a disaster for most Americans, but very popular with donors funding both sides.” Because these policies were the favorites of the elite, average Americans were overlooked, and it wasn’t until President Trump was elected that those Americans had someone to represent them.

“After we regrouped around Donald Trump,” Ingraham continued, “we had a leader who took our ideas to the White House. In less than a decade, we had beaten the leadership of both parties. one of the most successful political movements in American history. So taken by surprise, the empire hit back. They impeached President Trump not once, but twice. They censored us online and pushed a lot people hiding in the culture of cancellation. They called us fascists and racists, and still are. “

Ingraham highlighted the political gains made by Republicans in Congress, in state legislatures, and among minority voters. She also noted the struggles of Democratic Governors Cuomo (NY), Newsom (CA), Pritzker (IL) and Whitmer (MI) whose lockdown decrees have led to political unrest.

Ingraham ended his monologue with optimism, noting that history could repeat itself once more. “41 years ago,” Ingraham concluded, “Conservatives led by Ronald Reagan took control of the White House and saved this country from an era of decline and despair. This generation of conservatives now have the organization and policies that might do the same.

“Our ideas improve the lives of millions of people in the Red States, but they weren’t going to end there. It has to be a 50-state movement dedicated to uplifting the entire country. We are not going to stop there. until our mission is over. “
