HCSO investigates distribution of anti-Semitic material
Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has become aware of a recent increase in offensive and anti-Semitic material circulating in our community.
The Sheriff’s Office of Terrorism Liaison, in coordination with state and federal law enforcement partners, is investigating the origin of this material and its distribution in our county. Anyone with information relating to the source or distribution of this material is encouraged to report using the Sheriff’s online report form at humboldtsheriff.org/report or contact the sheriff’s office at (707) 268-2539.
“I want to thank the many members of our community who immediately notified my office of the discovery of these materials,” said Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal. “Hate has no place in Humboldt County, and we will not tolerate the use of fear or intimidation to promote a hate-filled political agenda.”
